We produce sushi for some of the biggest retailers in the UK including Asda, Aldi, Co-op, Morrisons and Sainsbury’s.

What you’ll be doing Control planned departmental activities, ensuring maintenance standards, practices, statutory compliance, and Health & Safety requirements are met while maximising equipment availability.

Support CMMS adoption across the facility by guiding and training maintenance team members.

Use the CMMS to convert work requests and labour availability into achievable plans, balancing operational needs.

Manage planning risks and amend work orders where practical to meet customer service and stock targets.

Communicate maintenance plans and information effectively with Operations, Technical, and Supply Chain teams.

Propose and implement improvement initiatives within the area of responsibility.

Organise, plan, schedule, and control all planned maintenance and engineering activities.

Develop and implement maintenance schedules to maximise equipment availability and effective use of engineering resources.

Chair daily meetings and develop/review departmental KPIs with the Engineering Management team.

Maintain daily maintenance records, including completed activities, components used, and follow-up requirements.

Schedule and manage contractor activities, ensuring safe site conditions and compliance with safety protocols.

Work at all times in accordance with company Health & Safety and Hygiene policies.

And any ad-hoc duties What we’re looking for Educated to GSCE level or equivalent experience working within an Engineering environment FMCG knowledge supported by experience of working in a fast-paced seasonal environment Awareness and experience of engineering and contractor deployment and management Attention to detail skill and ability to prioritise Can demonstrate analytical thinking coupled with a strong assertive character.
