Overview
In this role you lead planning systems to translate forecasts into feasible production and material plans, balancing service with cost. You’ll steer the planning team to stay safe, engaged and effective, while managing budgets and collaborating with commercial and supply chain colleagues. You’ll partner with customers and NPD teams to support joint business planning and ensure compliance across processes. This position offers a chance to influence how we scale operations and deliver value to stores and consumers.

Responsibilities
- Lead planning systems to convert sales forecasts into production and material plans
- Provide leadership and development for the planning team while ensuring safety and performance
- Construct budgets and manage spend for cost efficiency
- Collaborate with commercial and supply chain colleagues to build accurate forecasts and SOP metrics
- Liaise with customers and participate in cross-functional forums (e.g., NPD) for joint business planning
- Monitor policy, legal, and customer standards and drive audit readiness and compliance
Key requirements
- Degree level or equivalent experience
- Supply chain experience in a similar role
- Experience of sales order processing and distribution planning
- Experience in managing and negotiating with third-party logistics
- Experience of working with a broad range of suppliers
- Experience in inventory management and material availability
- Ability to manage customer expectations and deliver good service
- Experience in leading budgets and managing diverse teams
