Overview
As a multiskilled maintenance engineer at Greencore, you will fault-find, service and preventively maintain plant equipment to optimise reliability and output. You will respond to production needs to maximise uptime, while upholding food safety and audit-ready documentation. You’ll spot efficiency and safety improvements and apply them across packaging and manufacturing lines. Responsibilities
- Fault-finding, troubleshooting and preventive maintenance on plant equipment to maximise reliability
- Respond to internal production needs to maximise uptime according to priorities
- Comply with food safety standards and safety controls
- Maintain accurate, audit-ready documentation
- Identify opportunities to improve health & safety and operational efficiency
- Maintenance on a range of manufacturing/packaging machinery
Key requirements
- Completed accredited apprenticeship or equivalent experience with Level 3 qualification
- Electrically biased
- Experience as Maintenance Engineer within manufacturing/FMCG
- Proactive approach and willingness to learn and develop
- Experience in electrical and mechanical fault finding
