Overview
You will drive product innovation as part of Greencore’s Product Development team in Kiveton. Collaborating with cross-functional colleagues, you’ll move concepts from idea to launch, support trials and scale-up, and present to retailers. The role blends creativity with technical execution in a fast-paced food manufacturing setting. You’ll help shape new offerings for major retailers and stay ahead of market trends. Responsibilities
- Develop innovative concepts and recipes aligned with customer briefs and trends
- Support the NPD process from concept to launch, ensuring culinary and quality standards
- Collaborate with Technical, Process, and Commercial teams
- Attend customer presentations and contribute ideas
- Provide culinary support during factory trials and product scale-up
- Stay updated on market and food trends
Key requirements
- Experienced Chef with industry-recognised qualifications (e.g. NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent)
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in hospitality or food manufacturing
- Strong creative flair and passion for innovation and trends
- Self-motivated, organized, able to work independently and in a team
