Location is flexible as you will be covering multiple sites across Greencore.
What You\βll Be Doing
* Collaborate with the Automation Programme Manager (Innovation) to scope and design high-impact automation solutions.
* Create detailed User Requirement Specifications (URS) and Capital Request documentation.
* Identify and evaluate suppliers of food manufacturing automation equipment.
* Develop bespoke automation projects and hand them over to the Capital Projects Team.
* Ensure all designs meet Group standards and align with our automation strategy.
* Support deployments across existing and new sites, maintaining a strong pipeline of future projects.
* Ensure all new equipment meets sustainability and hygiene design standards.
* Build strong partnerships with automation specialists and internal stakeholders.
* Assist in mapping the factory of the future.
How Success Will Be Measured
* Delivery of automation projects that meet ROI and sustainability criteria.
* Engagement and collaboration with site SLTs and cross-functional teams.
* Effective supplier relationships and solution implementation.
* Continuous improvement and innovation across multiple sites.
What We\βre Looking For

* Degree-level education or equivalent in a relevant field.
* 3+ years\β experience in chilled food manufacturing automation.
* Strong understanding of hygienic design and food safety standards.
* Experience with robotics installation and implementation (advantageous).
* Knowledge of engineering design, manufacturing techniques, and turnkey suppliers.
* Commercial acumen and ability to assess cost-effectiveness.
* Familiarity with Health & Safety compliance for equipment.
* CAD software proficiency (preferred).
* Skilled in Microsoft Office and Project tools.
* Ability to work collaboratively across all levels of the factory environment.
