As a vibrant and fast-moving business, we're proud to employ over 28,000 talented colleagues across 36 manufacturing sites and 21 distribution depots in the UK and the US. Together, we bring delicious food to life. Our products cover every meal occasion from breakfast through to dinner and dessert, with lunch and snacking in between. In FY25, our shared passion helped us achieve combined revenues of approximately £4bn.

Our extensive direct to store (DTS) network, with 17 depots across the UK, allows us to deliver fresh and frozen food both our own and from trusted partners to thousands of stores every day, ensuring consumers enjoy the very best, whenever and wherever they shop.

What you'll be doing:

  • Lead the Group Logistics programme with accountability for the Opex agenda, sustainability initiatives, fleet procurement, MBE initiatives, and the strategic direction, governance, and performance of logistics systems across the organisation.
  • Lead the development and delivery of the Group Logistics strategy, translating business objectives into a clear, prioritised roadmap of strategic initiatives and transformation programmes.
  • Drive a continuous improvement culture across the warehouse and distribution operation, embedding the sharing and adoption of best practice and local problem-solving capability to ensure modern, cost effective operating practices are developed and embedded (including automation opportunities).
  • Build a 3-5 year roadmap across the Logistics network, in order to optimise network delivery and achieve budgetary targets.
  • Actively sponsor and commit the necessary resource and focus required to support delivery of our sustainability commitments, goals and targets.
  • Define and diagnose opportunity for cost-out initiatives, and optimisation of network infrastructure in line with established GOE targets.
  • Lead the coordination of the improvement program, and cost reduction pipeline.
  • Ensure effective operational support and continuous optimisation of logistics systems, including Transend (HHT), Infios (Voice), SOP (Order & Invoice Processing), and Webfleet (Vehicle Compliance).
  • Drive system adoption, stability, and value realisation across the business.
  • Define and own KPIs across service, revenue, network efficiency, compliance, and risk, ensuring accurate, timely, and insightful reporting, enabling data-driven decision making.
  • Lead major logistics change and development initiatives, ensuring structured change management, stakeholder engagement, and delivery of sustainable benefits.
  • Actively manage organisational risk related to both Cyber Security and data, by committing the necessary focus, resource and investing in the skills and experience required to ensure compliance to relevant policies and legislation.

What we're looking for:

  • Demonstrable operational and leadership experience, ideally in a fast-moving consumer goods environment.

  • High degree of tenacity, resilience, determination and persistence to ensure goals are achieved and the team stays motivated and focused.
