What you'll be doing:
- Undertake all aspects of cleaning all food manufacturing areas, equipment and machinery to meet food hygiene standards.
- Carry out the consistent application of hygiene within a given area/line to ensure the area is maintained to the agreed standards.
- Ensure that all sanitation processes are completed in full and that hygiene standards for a given area are maintained during the production shift.
- Carry out Daily Cleaning of all areas of the factory as part of a team.
- Schedule Deep cleaning of large machinery.
- Wear full PPE such as chemical suit, visor, wellingtons, gloves and safety goggles.
- Work in chilled and hot environments.
- Fill out paperwork to document the cleans.
- Promote good health and safety culture within the workplace.
- Use and store chemicals appropriately.
- Report any damaged equipment or machinery.
What we're looking for:
- Anybody is able to do this role as training and education will be provided.
- Previous experience is an advantage but not a necessity.
- A basic understanding of English, both verbal and written is a must.
- Any background with COSHH and HACCP is highly advantageous but not a necessity.
