What you'll be doing:
- You will play a key role within our Nut Pod preparation area, ensuring ingredients are prepared and handled to the highest quality, food safety, and production standards.
- Working as part of the high-risk production team, you will prepare and process raw materials and ingredients used in the manufacture of our products.
- This is a physically demanding role that involves regular manual handling and heavy lifting.
- Previous food preparation or food handling experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
- Please note that this role is based within our Nut Pod area, where nuts and nut-based ingredients are handled and processed. Therefore, this position may not be suitable for individuals with nut allergies due to the nature of the working environment.
What we are looking for:
- Good level of numeracy and literacy skills both verbal and written.
- Has a keen eye for detail and can demonstrate working in a safe manner and to good H&S practices.
- Able to follow management instructions and procedures.
- Able to liaise and communicate with other departments.
- Basic Awareness and understanding of Food, Health, and Safety.
- Ability to work under pressure and flexible.
