Shift Pattern/ Time: Part-time, 5 on 2 off, Sunday to Thursday, 12:00 - 17:00 (5h/day)

What you'll be doing:

  • Undertake hygiene tasks including the cleaning of equipment within production areas to the required hygiene standard.
  • Use all chemicals appropriately and safely according to the COSHH regulations.
  • Deep cleaning of relevant areas following the cleaning schedule, as and when required.
  • Ensure that all paperwork is completed accurately and submitted to the correct personnel.
  • Follow work instructions highlighting any issues to the Hygiene Manager.
  • Promote a good health, safety and environmental culture within the department.

What we’re looking for:

  • Proficient in performing general warehouse hygiene duties, including the assembly and disassembly of machinery for thorough cleaning.
  • Strict adherence to written approved procedures for hygiene tasks, with attention to completing logbook entries by company standards.
  • Promotion of a strong culture of health, safety, and environmental awareness within the department.
  • Effective communication abilities, both in reading and writing.
  • Experience working in a role involving manual handling desired.
  • Experience of working in a food production environment is desired, but not always essential.
  • Cleaning experience preferred but not essential.
