Shift Pattern/ Time: 5on 2off, Sunday to Thursday, 06:00 - 15:00
Rate: £13.63/hour
Location: Greencore Bow, Twelvetrees Crescent, London E3 3JG (Please note this is a full-time role only)
What you'll be doing:
- Undertake hygiene tasks including the cleaning of equipment and areas to the required hygiene standard.
- Carry out daily cleaning of all areas of the factory, such as corridors, canteen, toilets, stairs, and all other amenities areas.
- Review equipment and highlight damage, escalating risks to the appropriate personnel.
- Use all chemicals appropriately and safely according to the COSHH regulations.
- Deep cleaning of relevant areas following the cleaning schedule, as and when required.
- Ensure that all paperwork is completed accurately and submitted to the correct personnel.
- Follow work instructions highlighting any issues to the Hygiene Manager.
- Carry out hygiene activities when needed in line with daily requirements ensuring operational integrity.
What we’re looking for:
- Proficient in performing general hygiene duties.
- Strict adherence to written approved procedures for hygiene tasks, with attention to completing logbook entries by company standards.
- Promotion of a strong culture of health, safety, and environmental awareness within the department.
- Effective communication abilities, both in reading and writing.
- Experience working in a role involving manual handling desired.
- Experience of working in a food production environment is desired, but not always essential.
- Cleaning experience preferred but not essential.
