Here in Boston, we employ around 400 colleagues and produce ready to eat salads, prepared vegetables and snacks for many of the major retailers such as Coop, Boots, Greggs, Costco, Spar and BOL.

What you will be doing:

  • Line Coordinator - Nights Tuesday-Saturday or Sunday-Thursday 18:00-02:00 at £14.79 per hour.
  • Ensure any relevant CCP's/Allergen Controls are adhered to.
  • Assist in the active promotion of a safety culture and ensure all health and safety requirements are met in the area.
  • Take ownership for product quality in the day to day running of the area/department/shift.
  • Ensure all company procedures are followed by all employees and that good hygiene and housekeeping practices are maintained at all times.
  • Ensure that all product handling and manufacturing is done in a hygienic environment in compliance with food legislation.
  • Maintain good communications within the area/department/shift and with all departments.
  • Assist in the setting of KPI's, monitoring and take accountability to achieve the targets set.
  • Liaise with HR to ensure policies and procedures are adhered to e.g. absence monitoring, recruitment, development, disciplinary/grievance, holiday entitlements/guidelines, agency ordering and control.
  • Support NPD in ensuring products come to fruition.
  • Help facilitate a continuous improvement environment.
  • Cover leave of colleagues and manage holiday/absence from all teams.
  • Ensure all paperwork completed in all areas/departments is accurate, reliable, comprehensive and legible.
  • Account for waste and ensure the team is aware of challenges to reduce waste where possible.
  • Attend SIC meetings on a daily basis, reporting any concerns regarding performance throughout the shifts.

What we are looking for:

  • Supervisory experience.
  • Understanding of how to maintain a team within a manufacturing environment.
  • Food or wider FMCG Manufacturing Experience is desirable.
  • Good level of English & Maths.
  • Basic understanding of Health & Safety and Food Hygiene.
  • Ability to work unsupervised.
