We are looking to hire a Finance Business Partner, to lead the customer finance relationship with specific customer(s), delivering reporting that is accurate and insightful, providing oversight, governance, and challenge to all customer activity. This is a customer facing role and we will be looking for someone who can:

  • Provide leadership and direction to ensure that the customer finance team is engaged, focused, developed and delivering to their full potential.
  • Deputise for Customer HOF when required.
  • Lead the reporting for a significant customer(s), ensuring data is accurate and insightful.
  • Provide full commentary of performance that builds understanding and clarity.
  • Business partner with the commercial team in developing demand forecasts that are accurate, progressive and in line with targets.
  • Put corrective plans in place when required.
  • Govern all customer activity including promotions, terms and joint business planning.
  • Ensure a robust financial assessment and that the impact is fully understood and appropriately authorized.
  • Own all relevant accrual balances relating to this activity.
  • Ownership of all relevant customer models including commodity models and open book costing.
  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of updates communicating both internally and externally.
  • Develop the models wherever possible to optimize outcomes for Greencore.
  • In conjunction with customer teams drive the annual PIP plan, delivering at least in line with the agreed business target(s).
  • Champion standardization and improvement working cross-functionally where required.

What we're looking for:

  • (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) post qualification experience gained within Retail, Manufacturing or FMCG.
  • Experience of operational decision support.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills able to communicate to all levels of the business.
  • Ability to build, lead and develop a high performing team.
  • Proactive, organised and able to work flexibly in order to meet deadlines and have the drive to deliver results.
