The Role
We're looking for a commercially driven Account Manager to take ownership of our Tesco meals account. This is a high-impact role focused on strengthening customer partnerships, driving sustainable growth, and delivering strong commercial results. You'll be responsible for shaping and executing account strategies, working cross-functionally to unlock value, and ensuring we consistently meet both customer expectations and internal performance targets.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Develop and deliver strategic account plans aligned to Greencore's wider customer strategy
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders, using market and competitor insight to anticipate and meet customer needs
- Collaborate with Marketing and Portfolio teams to create compelling, customer-focused propositions
- Lead joint business planning and customer negotiations to maximise sales and profitability
- Challenge existing ways of working to drive continuous improvement across both Greencore and customer partnerships
- Produce accurate demand forecasts, ensuring supply chain alignment and robust financial planning
- Identify and capitalise on new business opportunities within the accounts
- Travel regularly to customer sites (full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle required)
What We're Looking For:
- Degree calibre (or equivalent experience)
- Strong understanding of the convenience food market
- Proven experience in Account Management within FMCG or retail
- Experience managing or influencing people and cross-functional teams
- Commercially astute with strong negotiation and relationship-building skills
- Full UK driving licence
