As a key driver of transformation and delivery, you’ll lead impactful logistics integration projects that support our wider business strategy and operational excellence. You’ll take ownership from concept through to implementation, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
You will:
- Lead end-to-end logistics project delivery and business change implementations within agreed timelines and budgets
- Design, direct, and oversee multiple projects aligned to strategic business objectives and our integration strategy
- Drive the implementation and embedding of improved business processes and operational practices
- Manage project governance and change control procedures to ensure deliverables are achieved on time, within scope, and within budget
- Plan, coordinate, and deliver major business changes and new operational concepts
- Develop commercially sound project approaches and oversee post-launch activities to ensure continued success
- Provide challenge, oversight, and strategic alignment across all active projects and initiatives
- Build strong stakeholder relationships and deliver clear communication plans to ensure engagement at all levels
- Monitor and manage critical project paths to ensure timely and successful delivery
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks throughout the project lifecycle
This role can be based at our Peterborough, Manton 110 or Tamworth site.
We’re looking for someone who combines strong project leadership with commercial awareness and technical understanding. You will ideally have:
- Proven experience in logistics project management and delivering complex business change initiatives
- Strong knowledge of recognised project delivery methodologies such as PRINCE2 or PMI
- Experience using Microsoft Project (or equivalent project management tools)
- Demonstrable experience in project risk management and governance
- Experience managing contracts and third-party suppliers
- Familiarity with technologies and environments such as data centre hosting and managed services
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and organisational skills
- The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
