Shift & Pay: 4 on 4 off – Day Shift – 7am to 7pm, £13.19 per hour.
What you’ll be doing:
- As a Hygiene Operative, you will undertake all aspects of cleaning all food manufacturing areas, equipment and machinery to meet food hygiene standards.
- You will be carrying out the consistent application of hygiene within a given area/line to ensure the area is maintained to the agreed standards.
- It is part of your job to ensure all sanitation processes are completed in full and that hygiene standards for a given area are maintained during the production shift.
- Carry out daily cleaning of all areas of the factory as part of a team.
- Schedule deep cleaning of large machinery.
- Wear full PPE (chemical suit, visor, wellingtons, gloves and safety goggles).
- Work in chilled and hot environments.
- Fill out paperwork to document the cleans.
- Promote a good health and safety culture within the workplace.
- Use and store chemicals.
- Report any damaged equipment or machinery.

- Experience working in a hygiene based role is essential.
- Health & Safety Level 2.
- Food Safety Level 2.
- COSHH awareness.
- Willingness to learn and train in different areas on site.
- Ability to follow written instructions.
- Good eye for detail to achieve inspection and cleanliness standards.
- Ability to work on own for periods of time.
