Shift Pattern/ Time: Sat‑Sun‑Mon‑Tue‑Thu (Wed/Fri off), 06:00‑15:00

Rate: £13.63/hour

Location: Greencore Bow, Twelvetrees Crescent, London E3 3JG (Please note this is a full‑time role only)

WIP Chillers store ingredients ready to be used on the production lines. Operatives maintain timely supply of ingredients, working with preparation teams and line leaders.

What you'll be doing:

  • Ensure compliance with all site safe systems of work, safe operating procedures and general Safety, Health and Environment customs and practices.
  • Follow Good Manufacturing Practices during preparation, including hand washing, wearing overalls, hairnets and covering ingredients.
  • Prepare ingredients and mixes according to procedures, plans and issuing sheets for the current and following shift, ensuring sufficient material for each product run.
  • Maintain accurate traceability information on all ingredients and mixes, correcting errors to prevent waste.
  • Collaborate with the team to perform tasks efficiently and effectively, maintaining excellent service levels to manufacturing lines.
  • Minimise ingredient wastage by weighing as required and rotating stock using a first‑in, first‑out approach.
  • Monitor ingredient use by dates and plans to ensure products have sufficient available life.
  • Participate in shift stock‑taking processes as requested, ensuring diligence and accuracy.
  • Follow reasonable requests of site leaders and/or managers.
  • Escalate any issues to your line manager in a timely manner.

  • Experience in a food production environment (desired but not essential).
  • Experience in manual handling (desired).
  • Good numeracy skills and a logical analytic mindset.
  • On‑the‑job training in all tasks and machinery; no prior task‑specific experience required.
