What you’ll be doing:
- Working within an exciting and fast-paced environment as a key member of our technical team to ensure exceptional service quality.
- Carrying out day-to-day laundry activities in line with daily requirements ensuring operational integrity.
- Reviewing equipment and highlighting damage, escalating risks to the appropriate personnel.
- Ensuring that chemicals are used and stored correctly.
- Cleaning wellingtons.
- Completing all paperwork accurately and submitting it to the correct personnel.
- Following work instructions and highlighting any issues to the Hygiene Senior Operator.
- Promoting a good health, safety and environmental culture within the department.
- Identifying and highlighting opportunities for sustainable improvements to increase quality and performance in support of the overall shift plan.
- Flexibility to cover all other areas where needed.
What we’re looking for:
- A good standard of education; demonstrates good literacy and numerical skills, able to understand, communicate and report clearly in English.
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Team player.
- Comfortable working in a chilled environment, standing for long periods of time, lifting and carrying and cleaning.
- Basic understanding of Health & Safety and Food Hygiene.
- Ability to work unsupervised.
- Good problem-solving skills.
