What We're Looking For
- Effective mathematics skills and effective written and spoken English
- Experience of people management
- Food Safety Training Level 1 Highfield
- Health and safety Level 2 Highfield
- Knowledge of budget process
- Understanding of LEAN to identify and implement business improvement programmes
- Understanding of voice picking methods
- UK driving licence required

Responsibilities
- Lead colleagues in the Warehouse team, including 3 Warehouse Shift Managers, working any 5 from 7.
- Ensure the correct products are selected for distribution to customers in a timely manner and ensure compliance with required standards.
- Continuously monitor all operational processes and the overall working environment to ensure compliance with food safety standards.
- Monitor and review rotas to ensure that staff availability and training operational needs fit the requirements of the department.
- Promote a Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) culture within the department, ensuring compliance with all elements of the health and safety procedures and management system.
- Ensure training is planned, recorded and managed for staff in accordance with agreed training matrices.
