What you’ll be doing: As a Planner, you will create daily production plans, manage stock levels and ensure the factory runs efficiently to meet customer demand. You will forecast requirements, track performance and identify opportunities to improve processes and reduce costs. Acting as a key link between departments, you will communicate effectively with colleagues and customers to support smooth operational performance every day.
- Plan and prioritise production to maximise efficiency while meeting customer service targets.
- Manage stock levels across finished goods, WIP and offsite inventory accurately and proactively.
- Monitor factory performance daily, ensuring strong operational flow and timely delivery.
- Forecast production needs to support material availability and labour planning.
- Track, analyse and improve KPIs to support continuous operational excellence.
- Collaborate effectively across teams and communicate clearly with internal and external stakeholders.
- Identify and implement improvements to reduce costs, enhance efficiency and optimise planning processes.
