The predicted salary is between 13 - 13 £ per hour.

Position: Red Shift 2’s & 3’s 6am – 6pm

Pay Rate: Up to £13.71 per hour depending on skill level

Location: Spalding

What you’ll be doing:

As a Hygiene Operative you will undertake all aspects of cleaning all food manufacturing areas, equipment and machinery to meet food hygiene standards. You will carry out the consistent application of hygiene within a given area/line to ensure the area is maintained to the agreed standards. Ensuring that all sanitation processes are completed in full and that hygiene standards for the area are maintained during the production shift.

Key Duties:

  • Carry out daily cleaning of all areas of the factory as part of a team
  • Schedule deep cleaning of large machinery
  • Wear full PPE such as chemical suit, visor, wellingtons, gloves and safety goggles
  • Work in chilled and hot environments
  • Fill out paperwork to document the cleans
  • Promote good health and safety culture within the workplace
  • Use and store chemicals appropriately
  • Report any damaged equipment or machinery

What we’re looking for:

Any background with COSHH and HACCP is highly advantageous but not a necessity. A basic understanding of English, both verbal and written, is a must. Previous experience is an advantage but not a necessity. Training and education will be provided.
