Production Operative - Greencore Rotherham, South Yorkshire

Permanent, Full‑time role. Pay rate: £12.85 per hour. Day Shift – 4 days a week (Mon‑Fri) 5:30am to 5:30pm. Location: Greencore Rotherham, South Yorkshire.

Responsibilities

  • Weigh up components.
  • Maintain stock levels on line.
  • Complete quality checks and paperwork.
  • Deliver product within time, quantity and quality parameters.
  • Support continuous operation of the line and all team members.
  • Comply with all standard operating procedures to ensure customer orders are produced safely, on time, and meet hygiene, quality and cost requirements.
  • Raise issues with the Senior Production Operative when identified.
  • Ensure Good Manufacturing Practice and support our Food Safety culture.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Experience in a fast‑paced, chilled environment.
  • Good understanding of both spoken and written English.
  • Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills.
  • Production experience preferred.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and support others.
