Here at Bow, we have a team of around 1100 colleagues. We produce sandwiches, wraps, platters, sub rolls and baguettes for some of the biggest retailers in the UK including Sainsbury’s, Co-op, Asda, Morrisons.
What you’ll be doing:
- Complete start-up equipment checks, follow factory procedures, and ensure product quality by monitoring ingredients and processing standards.
- Take temperature readings and maintain traceability records for ingredients and finished products throughout the process.
- Maintain equipment cleanliness, follow allergen segregation procedures, and ensure Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) are upheld.
- Identify and report any quality issues, foreign bodies, or inaccuracies, and take corrective actions promptly.
- Assist the QA team with sampling, stay informed on product changes, and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and legal standards including HACCP.
What we are looking for:
- Able to work in a fast pace, chilled environment.
- Has a keen eye for detail and can demonstrate working in a safe manner and to good H&S practices.
- Able to manage the team and follow management instructions and procedures.
- Good level of numeracy and literacy skills, both verbal and written.
- Basic Awareness of Health and Safety.
