What we do:
This particular role is based at our Bakkavor Salads Bo'ness site, which employs over 1,000 people and produces food-to-go salads and salad accompaniments to a number of customers. It is located 3.5 miles from Linlithgow and 8 miles to Falkirk.
About the role:
We manufacture a wide range of high-quality chilled products for our dedicated customers at our sites. Our production lines are non-stop, so you'll be kept busy creating our products. Working right at the heart of our fast-paced, high-pressured environment, you'll enjoy plenty of variety, be encouraged to find where your strengths lie and supported to achieve your full potential.
Whether you are a machine operative, mixing operative, technician, QCs or key operative, you'll always focus on safety, speed and accuracy. Using your previous experience in a manufacturing environment, you'll always aim to deliver high-quality in a right first-time environment.
Skilled Factory Operative - Days duties may include:
- Conducting CCP's
- Metal Detection operation
- Check weighing operation
- Leading a production line
We're looking for hardworking people, willing to learn and keen to progress. Familiar with the demands of a fast-paced production environment, you'll have a good understanding of food safety best practice.
About you:
- Plenty of drive, motivation, and ambition
- Previous manufacturing experience is essential
- Good attention to detail and organisation skills
- The desire to learn about Food Safety and Good Manufacturing Practices
- The willingness to wear PPE
