Role Purpose
To deliver accurate and high‑quality Group performance reporting information on a weekly and monthly basis, collaborating with senior internal and external stakeholders to deliver insight, shape performance and support decision‑making.
- Key Accountabilities
- Internal Reporting
Lead consolidation of Group internal management reporting on a weekly, monthly basis and present to the executive team alongside Operations and Commercial.
Set timelines for information receipt from other functions, enable review and feedback by Finance SLT and CFO.
Work with FP&A to produce the flash of performance.
Ensure reconciliation with BPC/Group's system of record and consistent classification.
Establish controls and validation procedures to guarantee completeness, accuracy and consistency of all management information.
Monthly Board Reporting
Prepare monthly board reporting for Greencore Group plc Board, securing information from other teams as required.
Agree timelines for receipt and deadlines for information provided to Finance and CFO, ensuring time for review before Board submission.
Analyse cash flows with FP&A, Treasury and external reporting teams, providing variance commentary.
Capital Reporting
Deliver monthly reporting of capital expenditure, including strategic/maintenance definitions, for the executive team and board reporting packs.
Maintain capital tracking tool and capex procedures, reviewing and updating annually to confirm adherence to approved procedures.
Systems
Manage and maintain systems and data for internal management reporting, including evaluating tools such as dashboards or Power BI to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Propose and implement Group‑wide system changes in collaboration with FP&A and external reporting.
Ad‑hoc Project Activity
Collaborate with Central Costs / FP&A and External Reporting teams on cross‑functional projects.
Provide leadership and direction, ensuring team engagement, focus, development and delivery of potential.
Sponsor and commit resources for inclusion, diversity, sustainability and cyber security/data risk commitments, ownership of relevant data compliance.
- Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Qualified Accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA) with extensive post‑qualified experience.
- Significant post‑qualified experience in internal reporting within fast‑paced, customer‑focused organisations.
- Experience leading internal reporting transformation (e. g. Power BI) highly desirable.
- Proficiency in the use of AI is advantageous.
- Commitment to delivering high‑quality information and demonstrable project management experience.
- Demonstrable experience in internal reporting in a large company with board‑level stakeholders.
- Ability to influence and build senior‑level relationships across a matrix structure.
- Ability to articulate group performance to the executive team and board of directors, including audiences with non‑finance backgrounds.
- Exceptional communication skills to interface with a wide variety of audiences across the Group.
