Are you an experienced multiskilled maintenance engineer from an FMCG/food background looking for a new challenge? You will be responsible for fault finding, problem solving and planned and preventative maintenance on plant equipment to maximise reliability and performance, respond to internal customer needs to maximise production time, comply with food safety standards, and complete required documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out fault finding, problem solving and planned and preventative maintenance on plant equipment to maximise reliability and performance.
  • Respond to internal customer needs to maximise production time according to priorities.
  • Comply with food safety standards and controls to ensure all work is carried out correctly and safely.
  • Complete all necessary documentation, ensuring it is accurate and audit-ready.
  • Identify and recommend opportunities for improvements to promote health & safety and/or operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Maintain a range of manufacturing/production/packaging machinery.

Qualifications / Requirements

  • Electrical bias with experience working as a Maintenance Engineer within manufacturing/FMCG.
  • Experience operating as an engineer, following a completed accredited apprenticeship or equivalent experience with an appropriate Level 3 qualification.
  • Proactive approach with a willingness to learn and develop.
  • Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding capabilities.
