5 from 7 shift - Sun to Thur. 12:00-20:00 weekdays, 05:00-13:00 weekends. Up to: £13.97ph

Here in Boston we employ around 400 colleagues and produce ready to eat salads, prepared vegetables and snacks for many of the major retailers such as Coop, Boots, Greggs, Costco, Spar and BOL.

What you'll be doing:

  • Completion of traceability paperwork (use by dates, amounts, prices, temperatures etc)
  • Stacking of packaged/trayed orders onto wheels or pallets as they are received
  • Setting up of lines ready for production to start – making sure correct packaging/trays/cages are available, correct labels are set up for printing
  • Ensuring tape machines are set up correctly and supplied with tape to keep lines running.
  • Following production plans to ensure correct packaging is issued to production for each order
  • Always keeping area clean - Identify and utilise down time to clean in, around and under all equipment
  • All other duties as assigned
  • Adhere to health & safety policies and quality standards
  • Storage and locating of goods received into our warehouse areas

What we’re looking for:

  • Full training will be provided if successful in this role but are looking for the following knowledge and experience:
  • Ideally experience within a food manufacturing environment or similar environment
  • Good Literacy and Numeracy skills
  • Problem solving skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Right first-time approach
  • Computer literate
  • Good communicator and ability to work in a team
  • Basic Awareness of Health and Safety and Food Hygiene
  • FLT Experience preferred however not essential
