What You'll be doing: As a Payroll Team Leader, you'll support the lead to ensuring our weekly-paid colleagues are paid accurately, on time and in line with their terms and conditions of employment. Managing payroll for a designated Division, you'll play a key role in maintaining compliance, delivering accurate reporting and supporting the wider business with payroll expertise.
- Coordinate and manage the payroll function for the weekly population for a given Division ensuring correct payment in full and on time.
- Ensure all payroll documentation is processed correctly and payments are made in line with company policies, payment rules and HMRC requirements.
- Provide accurate payroll and cost data to support site reporting and financial planning.
- Maintain the security and confidentiality of colleague data, ensuring compliance with data protection legislation and internal policies.
- Ensure all statutory payments, legislative requirements and internal reporting obligations are completed accurately and on time.
- Act as a trusted source of payroll expertise, providing guidance and support to colleagues and stakeholders across the business.
- Support the delivery of payroll-related projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
What We're Looking For: We're looking for an experienced payroll professional with strong technical knowledge, excellent attention to detail and the ability to lead and support a team. You'll be confident managing complex payroll processes, interpreting legislation and driving improvements to deliver an efficient and high-quality service.
