Position: Elementary School Teaching (PA Certified Teacher)
Greencastle‑Antrim Primary School, 2026‑2027 school year. Reports to Building Principal.
- Performance Responsibilities
- Implement the district's philosophy of education, goals and objectives through the district's sanctioned curriculum in accordance with approved planned courses of study.
- Create a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and interests of students.
- Use a variety of instructional methods to convey concepts and facts in order to transmit knowledge to students.
- Evaluate student progress with a variety of techniques.
- Recognize learning problems displayed by students and report such concerns to the building principal.
- Establish and maintain appropriate classroom management techniques and assist in upholding and enforcing school rules, administrative regulations, and board policy for all students in the school.
- Keep records as required by the educational program.
- Work closely with parents to help develop the student to their fullest potential.
- Perform other duties related to the position of Classroom Teacher as requested by the Building Principal.
