# Landlord Liaison Officer**Job Title: Landlord Liaison Officer****Role: This is a 12 month fixed term contract covering long term absence and maternity leave****Location: Sheffield****Hours: 9:00 am – 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday****Salary: £28,000 to 29,000 per annum depending on experience****Reporting to: Head of Operations**Join Green Bridge Community Housing (GBCH) and make a real difference in the lives of vulnerable adults as a Landlord Liaison Officer based at our Sheffield office.We are a leading supported housing provider in South & West Yorkshire, dedicated to empowering individuals and creating thriving communities.This is an exciting opportunity for an insightful, resourceful, and diligent individual to join a rapidly growing organisation.The right candidate should be customer centric with excellent communication skills; be very organised and capable of negotiating with various parties.**Purpose of role:**To form and maintain strong links of engagement with current and potential future landlords, property investors and developers, who are willing to provide private tenancies to vulnerable adults via Green Bridge Community Housing (GBCH).**Key tasks/objectives:**· To form and maintain strong links of engagement with current and potential future landlords, property investors and developers, who are willing to provide private tenancies to vulnerable adults via Green Bridge Community Housing (GBCH).· Be very responsive to landlord requests and concerns.· Encourage landlords to place a high percentage of their properties with GBCH.· Organise and co-ordinate rent reviews and negotiate best rental values, finalising and managing lease agreements.· Understand property management to be able to check housing is fit for purpose, ie has a working boiler, no damp etc.· Understand how GBCH’s guaranteed housing scheme works and sell this as a benefit to prospective landlords. This includes break clauses, undertaking all property maintenance and H&S checks.· Working closely with the Housing Teams across all sites.**Person Specification:**The skills, knowledge and experience required in this role are:**Essential:**· Proven negotiation and numeracy skills.· Ability to interpret and evaluate information and produce comprehensive documentation.· Excellent communication skills, able to convey important information effectively in person and via written correspondence.
