We're recruiting for a Senior Ecologist to join a small consultancy in the Huddlesfield area, specialising in habitat creation, restoration and management, alongside a broad range of ecological consultancy work across the region. You’ll be second‑in‑command, working closely with the Team Leader, and your arrival will unlock the next phase of growth for the business – including hiring and supporting the next junior ecologists, so you get to see and feel your impact beyond your own workload.
If you have a passion for botany, this role will really suit you, as you’ll be heavily involved in some exciting, ongoing projects with Natural England. You’ll be supported by a knowledgeable, collaborative team who actively encourage and support your development – including work towards additional licences and certifications. And as part of a smaller consultancy, you’ll be known, listened to and trusted.
