To assist in the assembly, testing, and preparation of off-grid lighting solutions for VentaVolt Ltd, while supporting warehouse operations across the business group. The role includes assembly, stock management, and general warehouse duties to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the assembly of off-grid lighting units according to company specifications.
- Perform basic testing and quality checks on assembled products.
- Follow assembly instructions, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications accurately.
- Identify and report any faults, defects, or improvements needed in the assembly process.
- Assist with receiving, storing, and organising components and finished products.
- Perform stock management tasks, including picking, packing, and stock counting.
- Conduct regular stock takes and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Ensure hygiene and organisation of the warehouse and work areas.
- Support the business group across multiple sites if required.
General Responsibilities
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop and warehouse environment.
- Comply with all health, safety, and environmental policies.
- Support packaging, dispatch, and preparation for installation or delivery.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across the business group.
Qualifications & Skills
- Technical background or experience in electronics, electrical assembly, or similar.
- Proven experience in assembly work and stock/warehouse management.
- Basic understanding of electrical systems and components.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to follow technical instructions and diagrams.
- Good communication skills and team-oriented approach.
- Willingness to learn and support multiple areas of the business.
Desirable Attributes
- Experience with solar or off-grid electrical products.

Working Conditions
- 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
- Hands-on assembly and warehouse work, which may involve standing, lifting, and manual handling of components.
- Work across workshop and warehouse environments at VentaVolt Ltd and the wider business group.
Salary negotiable in line with banding. Company Pension. Medical cash plan. 20 days holiday rising by one day per full year worked to a maximum of 5 days.
