We are seeking a skilled and reliable Moulding Operator to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will play a key role in operating our moulding machines to produce high-quality plastic components and products. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment. If you are experienced in operating machinery, have a keen eye for detail, and are able to work efficiently and independently, we'd like to hear from you.

Moulding Operator Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate moulding machines to produce plastic products.
  • Monitor machine operations to ensure consistent product quality.
  • Perform routine maintenance to keep machines running smoothly.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any operational issues to minimize downtime.
  • Pack, label, and palletise production for shipment.
  • Conduct quality control checks and report any defects.
  • Follow process instructions accurately and adhere to safety guidelines.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure targets are met while maintaining high standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organised working environment.

Working Hours:

  • 4 x 12-hour shifts, Monday to Thursday 7pm to 7am (flexibility required).
  • Occasional overtime may be required, including weekends.
  • May also be required to cover day shifts on occasion.

Essential Skills, Knowledge & Experience:

  • Proven ability to work with machinery.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Good manual dexterity and ability to multitask.
  • Basic computer skills (MS Word/Excel).
  • Industry experience is an advantage.
  • Own transport to commute to Bodiam, East Sussex.
  • Flexible and willing to adapt to changing needs in the production schedule.
