Overview

In this role you will join Greenberg Traurig’s London Energy & Infrastructure team to work on large energy and infrastructure projects and transactions across UK, EMEA and globally. You will contribute to M&A, project development, financing and contracts, while supporting ESG and regulatory matters. This is a growth-focused position in a global firm with comprehensive training and development. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver client-centric, commercially-minded advice.

Responsibilities

  • Manage transactions and projects as part of the deal team
  • Oversee specialist due diligence
  • Draft and negotiate key project and transaction documents
  • Support business development with the team
  • Manage client work and expectations, delivering excellent client service
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of firm and client documentation
  • Keep abreast of caselaw, policy and reforms

Key requirements

  • Experience in an energy-focused team with energy projects, M&A or project finance
  • Strong ability to understand and apply complex legal principles
  • Excellent oral and written communication, presentation and influencing skills
  • Ability to interact confidently with clients and pursue new business opportunities
  • Commercial and pragmatic outlook
  • Flexible, hands-on attitude and adaptability in fast-paced environments
  • Excellent IT skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Autonomous working style with strong time management and prioritisation
