This is a fantastic role for someone self-motivated to work independently. Within this role you will also have the opportunity to acquire a company car.
The ideal candidate will ensure customers receive accurate and up-to-date bills by collecting data from gas, electric and water meters, using a hand-held electronic device, and other equipment. There is a great deal of flexibility within this role, such as planning your route and managing your schedule and workload to achieve the targets set for the week by your field delivery manager.
There will be an occasional need to walk longer distances as not all customers live in built-up areas, but youll get great exercise!
Working Hours:
One of the benefits of this role is that its a full time flexible basis between hours of 8am – 8pm Monday-Sunday, working 40 per week.
Requirements:
- Approachable, presentable, and polite and acts as an ambassador for the company.
- Physically fit due to the nature of the role.
- Required to plan and manage workload independently, working towards targets.
- Report any dangerous meter installations or suspected signs of tampering.
- Self-motivated and energetic and enjoy working outdoors.
- A full UK driving licence.
- Ability to work to timescales and under pressure.
- Flexible approach to tasks and working.
- Friendly personality with a professional approach to work.
- Pass screening and vetting standards and pass a DBS check.
Full training is provided so experience is not necessary.
