We are seeking an Interim Fire Safety Manager to join our Compliance Safety Team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven individual from a Fire Safety background to join an industry leading team in ensuring our tenants' properties are safe places they are proud to call home.
Role Profile
- Manage FRA programmes, ensuring plans are in place to meet compliance.
- Ensure that resulting fire remedial actions are managed, assigned within the business and completed to timescales.
- Manage the fire safety servicing contracts, ensuring the regulatory compliance is met and maintained.
- Ensure contracts are procured and managed to provide excellent customer service, dealing with or escalating performance issues where necessary.
- Keep abreast of regulatory developments and industry best practice.
- Manage day to day contract works on site, pre and post inspecting and advising where necessary.
- Work with colleagues across the business to aid access for compliance inspections, signposting any vulnerability or safeguarding issues.
- Have an excellent understanding of Fire Safety and Building regulations alongside preparing specifications, designs, contract and tender documentation to procure works and services.
- Ensure that resident consultation is carried out where required and our residents are kept fully informed of works planned and happening within their homes.
