Greenacre School is one of the UK's largest special schools, educating over 300 children and young people aged 3 to 19 with severe and complex learning disabilities. THE ROLE
- Location: Barnsley
- Pay Rate: Β£14.13 per hour
- Hours: Casual/Bank (Weekdays and School Holidays)
Looking for extra hours that fit around your current school role? We have an exciting new opportunity for internal candidates to join our casual staff bank.
We are opening up our amazing new cafe during school lettings and during the school holidays. We need a team of dedicated staff to help us run it during weekdays from 4:00 pm, at weekends, and throughout the school holidays.
You will work closely with our Cafe Manager, but you will also need the confidence and competence to run the cafe independently during their absence. As a Relief Cafe Assistant, you will maintain our high standards of service, safety, and cleanliness, providing a warm and welcoming environment for pupils, staff, and visitors alike.
REQUIREMENTS
No cafe experience? No problem! We will provide you with all the training and guidance you need. The out-of-hours menu will focus on "grab and go" products, such as operating the coffee machine and serving cakes.
Commitment: Willingness to work at least one session every half-term. Availability: Casual staff will be required to provide their availability at least 1 month in advance. Development: A willingness to undertake additional training relevant to the post. Payroll: Staff will be paid on the 15th of each month upon receipt of a submitted timesheet.
