Greenacre are pleased to be supporting a social housing organisation, based in South London with their recruitment of a Wellbeing & Maintenance Assistant. Your core responsibilities will involve supporting the organisation to meet their landlord obligations in relation to Health and Safety and other areas of compliance, repairs, estate services and maintenance within their Older Persons Independent Living accommodation.
What will you do in the role?
- To ensure the delivery of excellent customer service to all residents in supported and older persons accommodation including a small number of shared owners and other external partners.
- To conduct wellbeing checks for residents within Older Persons Schemes.
- To be responsible for completing the initial resident Risk Assessments for new residents and then annually review to identify any risks that could place them or their homes at risk.
- Conducting the Health and Safety inspections of the communal areas of the buildings and gardens.
- Liaising with contractors and tracking the completion of repairs in the communal areas to ensure H&S compliance.
Who would excel in this role?
- Have experience of engaging with residents to sustain their tenancies.
- Experience and or understanding of safeguarding process.
- Full driving license.
