The Role: As the Project Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing refurbishment and maintenance projects from mobilisation through to completion. Working across a mixed‑use property portfolio, you will coordinate contractors, consultants and stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and fully compliant with health & safety and regulatory requirements. This is a hands-on role that combines project management, technical compliance oversight and stakeholder engagement, offering both variety and autonomy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage project mobilisation across a varied property portfolio.
- Oversee contractors, consultants and specialists to ensure works are coordinated and delivered effectively.
- Ensure implementation of compliance requirements including fire safety, asbestos, legionella, M&E and energy efficiency.
- Deliver projects on time, within budget and to agreed quality standards.
- Produce clear progress reports and updates for internal and external stakeholders.
- Manage project budgets and ensure effective use of resources.
- Ensure adherence to health & safety legislation and maintain safe working environments.
- Develop specifications, policies, procedures and detailed work plans for projects.
- Support continuous improvement across project delivery and compliance processes.
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong experience in property, maintenance or capital works project management.
- Knowledge of key compliance areas including fire safety, asbestos, legionella and M&E systems.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects within a fast‑paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and confidence engaging with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Strong organisational, reporting and documentation skills.
