Are you an experienced Contract Manager with a proven track record in delivering major works and planned improvement projects?

The Role: We are looking for a Contract Manager to lead the delivery of planned and major works projects across housing stock. These projects range from internal upgrades to external enveloping works, fire safety remediations, and energy efficiency improvements. You will manage projects from inception through to completion, ensuring compliance with legislation, delivering within budget and programme, and achieving high levels of resident satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage contracts and projects including planned works, cyclical maintenance, fire compartmentation, cladding replacement, and refurbishment.
  • Work with the Procurement Team to tender and appoint contractors and consultants, ensuring robust specifications and compliance with LBL standards.
  • Lead stakeholder engagement, consultation, and communication plans throughout project delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with CDM Regulations 2015, Building Safety Act 2022, and all relevant building regulations.
  • Monitor KPIs, budgets, risks, and progress, escalating issues where necessary.
  • Facilitate regular progress meetings and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external partners.
  • Oversee statutory and non-statutory resident consultation and ensure leaseholder cost recovery processes are followed.

  • Excellent knowledge of building safety, compliance, procurement processes, and contract management.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and deliver high-quality outcomes.
  • A proactive, solution-focused approach with a commitment to continuous improvement.

Qualifications Required:

  • Preferably educated to HNC/HND/Degree level or equivalent.
  • NEBOSH Construction Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
  • Minimum five years’ experience in contract management within social housing or a similar environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office with advanced Excel skills.
