We’re supporting a Local Authority in the South East to appoint an Interim PMO Manager to provide strategic coordination and governance oversight across a major Housing Improvement Programme. This role is central to driving transformation across Housing Services, ensuring robust governance, clear reporting, and effective risk and performance management across multiple programme workstreams.

The Interim PMO Manager will:

  • Lead and maintain programme governance frameworks and reporting standards
  • Coordinate activity across workstreams, ensuring alignment of priorities and milestones
  • Oversee the programme risk register and performance monitoring
  • Provide assurance to senior leadership on delivery confidence and risk exposure
  • Prepare dashboards, highlight reports and governance papers
  • Support regulatory compliance and external assurance activity
  • Line-manage a Project Support Officer and help strengthen PMO capability across the service
