We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Fire Safety Manager to join a growing compliance and asset management function. This is a key leadership role responsible for driving fire safety strategy, ensuring regulatory compliance, and promoting a proactive safety culture across the organisation. You will lead a specialist team and oversee contractor performance to ensure properties remain safe, compliant, and fully aligned with current fire safety legislation and best practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a fire safety professional who combines strong technical expertise with effective leadership and stakeholder management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage fire safety compliance programmes across the property portfolio.
- Develop, implement and continuously improve fire safety strategies, policies, procedures and management plans.
- Oversee Fire Risk Assessments (FRAs), ensuring risks are identified, monitored and mitigated effectively.
- Monitor legislative and regulatory changes, ensuring ongoing compliance with fire safety requirements.
- Manage the installation, maintenance and testing of fire safety systems, including alarms, sprinklers and emergency lighting.
- Lead contractor and supplier management, driving performance, quality and value for money.
- Develop and deliver fire safety training, guidance and awareness programmes for colleagues and residents.
