This role will focus on shaping long-term investment strategy, including the development and ownership of a 30-year asset investment plan, ensuring data-led decision making informs future priorities.

You will take responsibility for stock condition data, oversee the ongoing establishment of a new CAFM system, and play a key role in strengthening asset data and governance. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and management of a long-term (30-year) asset management and investment strategy.
  • Take ownership of stock condition data, including the management and validation of stock condition surveys.
  • Oversee the implementation and ongoing development of a newly launched CAFM system, supporting the creation of a robust asset database.
  • Manage and support a Data Analyst, ensuring high-quality data analysis, reporting, and insights.
  • Use asset intelligence to inform capital investment planning, prioritisation, and value-for-money decisions.
  • Work closely with property, surveying, and investment colleagues to align asset strategy with operational delivery.
  • Ensure asset data supports compliance, sustainability, and long-term portfolio performance objectives.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of asset management processes, systems, and governance frameworks.
  • Undertake occasional travel to support asset reviews, stakeholder engagement, or project activity as required.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Strong experience within asset management, property strategy, or investment planning.
  • Ability to think strategically while remaining comfortable working with detailed stock data and systems.
  • Proven experience using asset information to inform long-term investment decisions.
  • Confidence managing data, dashboards, and performance information, either directly or through others.
  • Understanding of property, construction, and building lifecycle principles.
  • A proactive, curious mindset with a desire to improve systems, processes, and outcomes.

Qualifications Required:

  • Degree or equivalent experience in Asset Management, Property, Surveying, or a related discipline.
