The Role: As the Asset Surveyor Repairs assuring repairs and maintenance works delivered by contractors. You will play a key role in improving service delivery by reviewing performance data, conducting post inspections and investigating complaints. Working collaboratively with stakeholders, you will ensure works meet required standards, provide excellent customer outcomes, and comply with statutory obligations and best practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and quality assure repairs and maintenance works delivered across a housing portfolio.
  • Carry out post inspections of completed works, including targeted and random checks.
  • Investigate customer complaints relating to repairs and produce detailed reports.
  • Analyse customer satisfaction data to identify trends, risks and service improvements.
  • Identify instances of poor workmanship and ensure corrective actions are taken.
  • Provide guidance to contractors on standards, specifications and policy requirements.
  • Ensure specialist works are properly procured, managed and delivered to a high standard.
  • Liaise with internal teams including housing, estates and surveying colleagues.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory obligations and regulatory standards.
