Damp, Mould & Disrepair Surveyor Salary: £47,523 per annum Location: Field Hours: 37 per week, Monday – Friday We’re looking for an experienced Damp, Mould & Disrepair Surveyor to help ensure homes are safe, healthy, and maintained to the highest standards. This is your opportunity to combine technical expertise with a people focused approach to make a real difference in residents’ lives. What you’ll be doing: * Survey domestic and communal properties to identify and resolve damp, mould, and disrepair issues. * Lead work programmes from diagnosis through to completion, managing contractors or in house teams. * Liaise directly with residents to explain findings, proposed works, and timescales. * Work with contractors to ensure compliance with specifications, contractual obligations, and quality standards. * Use data to track issues, identify root causes, and recommend preventative measures. * Collaborate with internal teams, housing management, and resident groups to improve service delivery. * Produce accurate reports, KPIs, and recommendations for service improvements. * Keep up to date with regulations, Ombudsman guidance, and best practice. What you’ll bring: * Expertise in damp, mould, and disrepair case management. * Knowledge of statutory, regulatory, and best practice requirements. * Experience managing contractors and delivering high quality, customer-focused services. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, using data to drive positive outcomes. * Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical issues clearly. * HNC in Building Construction (or equivalent). * Full UK driving licence and business-use insurance.
