Reporting to: Special Projects Manager
Responsibilities
- Reviewing and scrutinising design information and technical specifications
- Carrying out site inspections at key stages, including standard setting, pre close up, functional and finishes checks
- Producing regular quality reports and progress updates
- Identifying defects, non compliances and areas requiring improvement
- Working closely with project teams, including Project Managers and Employers' Agents, to resolve issues
- Providing feedback to support ongoing improvement of design briefs and technical requirements

- Building Regulations, including Part B (Fire Safety)
- Requirements of the Building Safety Regulator
- CDM 2015
- Employer's Requirements
- Third-party obligations (e.g., Rights of Light, Party Wall Awards, statutory wayleaves)
