Greenacre Environmental Systems is delighted to announce the expansion of their delivery team within Dewsbury as we look to hire a Project Engineer to join us on a permanent basis. You will be responsible for the delivery of all LEV compliance inspection projects, initially across the Yorkshire region, personally attending each site to complete the inspections. This position would ideally suit someone with the ambition to take on challenges and deliver results.

Some of your key duties of the role include:

  • Conducting thorough LEV compliance examinations in accordance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Creating client reports and maintaining accurate records, calibrations logs, and documentation.
  • Communicating results clearly to the operational managers.
  • Identifying engineering issues, root causes, and improvement opportunities.
  • Project liaison from initial enquiry stage to final acceptance and documentation, and meeting with clients as required.
  • Ensuring all technical information is available when required.

What do you need?

  • Qualified to degree / HND/ HNC level in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience of the design, manufacturing, and/or knowledge of ventilation systems is mandatory.
  • BOHS P601 or P602 certified is highly advantageous.
  • Good time management, with the ability to multitask, plan and organise day-to-day workloads within a busy environment.
  • Good communication skills in both verbal and written communication with an ability to create engineering reports.
  • Good interpersonal skills with an ability to work with, lead and motivate others, and be able to bring projects to successful completion.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
