We are actively looking to engage warehousing, logistics or administration professionals with a passion for production and manufacturing operations for a new role as a Warehouse Operative (Part-Time) in Nottingham. This role is offered on a part-time basis, across Monday to Friday – with the ideal hours of 07:30-12:30. Client Details Our client is a market-leading producer of high-end manufacturing machinery distributed across the worldwide. With around 61 production and distribution sites across the world (in Europe, USA and the Far-East). You will be joining a fast-paced environment in a brand new production and distribution logistics hub with circa 50 colleagues across warehousing, despatch and production. Job Description As a Warehouse Operative (Part-Time) you will report into the Site Production Manager on a daily basis and will be responsible for the following areas of responsibility within the Nottingham site. * Managing and accurately input and entering customer order details into the dynamics manufacturing system and database * Verifying order details, including product availability, pricing and customer information * Co-ordinating with production, despatch, shipping and external couriers to ensure timely order fulfilment and invoicing. * Joining a close knit team of warehouse colleagues responsible for loading, unloading, picking, packing and storage replenishment operations within a 100k sq.ft. warehouse * Operating a host of forklifts – such as counterbalance and PPT\’s – safely and efficiently. * Responsible for creating a safe working environment and adhering to H&S code at all times. * Preparing items for shipment, ensuring they are securely packaged and labelled. The Ideal Candidate The successful Warehouse Operative (Part-Time) will have an expansive background logistics, warehousing and order processing, ideally within a manufacturing based operation and will have the following skills & experience: * Experience within manufacturing, logistics or engineering is desirable. * The ability to work part-time hours (ideally 07:30-12:30), however, the hours on offer can be adapted for the successful candidate. * Commutable to Nottingham site on a daily basis (near to Queen\’s Medical Centre). * Experience warehousing and / or logistics. * Forklift Licence – Counterbalance and/or PPT is desirable * Excellent character, who is a keen team player. * Proactive with a high attention to detail – who is a natural problem-solver!
