If you’re the kind of person who takes pride in what you do, who’s curious about where the energy industry is heading, and who wants to feel genuinely valued for the skills you’ve spent years building, read on. Green Wave is a small electrical contracting company with a big purpose. We install solar, battery systems and heat pumps for schools, charities and hospices, mainly across the North West and wider North of England.
We’re building towards something that goes well beyond the installations themselves: a circular business where commercial profits help fund clean energy for the people and organisations that need it most. Your work here will matter. Not in a motivational-poster kind of way. We mean you’ll be able to drive past a hospice or a school and say, “We did that.”
We’re building a tight team. Everyone pulls their weight, everyone takes accountability, everyone’s voice counts, and the standard we hold ourselves to is high.
We’re looking for a fully qualified electrician with commercial experience and a driving licence. Renewables experience would be a bonus, but it isn’t essential. If you’ve got the right attitude, care about doing good work, and want to learn where the energy industry is heading, we’ll help you build that knowledge.
- Competitive Pay: We value your hard work and dedication. Enjoy competitive wages and opportunities for growth.
- Work Life Balance: Enjoy a 4-day working week, with 40 hours across four days, giving you more time to rest, recharge, and make the most of your weekends.
- Health Care: Your health matters to us. We provide comprehensive health care coverage, ensuring you are well taken care of.
- Holiday Benefits: You’ll receive your full UK statutory holiday entitlement, plus your birthday off each year.
- Contributing to a Sustainable Future: At Green Wave, you'll help create a more sustainable world through our energy-efficient solutions.
- Other Perks: 50% off a pair of running shoes every year. Up to 40% off Fitness Trackers. Free Headspace Subscription. 50% Off selected gym memberships.
Your Skills and Qualifications:
- Fully Qualified Electrician: A fully qualified electrician with commercial experience and a driving licence.
- Passion for Sustainability: If you're passionate about green energy and sustainability, you'll feel at home with us.
- Problem Solver: We appreciate individuals who can think on their feet and find innovative solutions.
