Green Street's Data Operations team is seeking a candidate who will oversee the management of price and promotion data feeds on a daily basis for one of the UK's largest grocery retailers. This role, embedded at the retailer's HQs, involves building and maintaining strong relationships with third-party suppliers and internal stakeholders while ensuring data is managed, analysed, and delivered efficiently. Job Responsibilities
- Manage large data sets from multiple sources, ensuring data is consistently processed and loaded into systems.
- Monitor the quality and accuracy of data, performing validation checks regularly.
- Track changes in retailer price and promotion policies, ensuring data reflects the latest updates.
- Resolve data queries and implement process improvements to enhance data management.
- Lead the automation of processes and continuously refine data handling workflows.
- Analyse data sets to support business insights and facilitate understanding of trends and key metrics.
- Collaborate with data providers and internal teams at the grocery retailer to enhance services and identify areas requiring additional data collection.
- Conduct ad-hoc data analysis as needed.
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to ensure smooth data operations.
Candidate Profile
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of working with large datasets.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; a desire to develop skills in SQL and Python.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the grocery retail sector, including major retailers, product categories, and market trends.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to identify key trends in data and present findings clearly.

Compensation, Benefits And Work Authorization
In addition to a base salary, this position is eligible for a performance bonus and benefits (subject to eligibility requirements). Total compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to, type of position, location, education level, work experience, and certifications.
