As a key member of the European Account Management team, you will be excellent at client management, which will include subscription renewals, identifying upsell and cross‑sell opportunities, addressing subscriber queries, providing demos and completing admin tasks. You will become an expert on both the real estate market and our subscriber base and systems, enabling you to be a highly successful individual account manager within a market‑leading news, research, data analytics and technology company.
Job Responsibilities
- First port of call for any subscribers in your book of business who may have any account issues or queries.
- Handle some administrative tasks for your clients, such as pulling subscriber usage reports, cleaning up databases and running product demonstrations.
- Relay the value of Green Street’s products to clients by understanding how our solutions meet their needs, improve the business process and address gaps of alternative solutions – accomplished through consultative account mapping and regular check‑ins.
- Meet with clients and prepare research to support your own accounts.
- Become an expert on the Green Street product suite and our client base.
- Renew subscriptions with the aim of account growth and revenue expansion to achieve targets set by the business and Commercial Leadership Team.
- Work closely with colleagues across functions and business units to ensure cross‑fertilization of ideas, best practices, and training.
- Deliver informative presentations confidently and proficiently both face‑to‑face and remotely.
- Ensure that our subscribers receive best‑in‑class customer service and are wholly satisfied through proactive communication.
- Investigate bugs and technical issues and work with product management team to resolve.
- Work with product management to advise and provide feedback to the wider commercial team and inform clients of new product features and launches.
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance or related field preferred and/or commensurate experience.
- Highly motivated, eager to learn, and coachable, with a great attitude.
- Proficiency in Continental European languages is a valuable asset, but not required.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Disciplined, organised and used to managing own schedule.
- 2+ years of sales and account management experience in software, financial services, real estate technology, data analytics, or technology‑driven B2B environments, with a proven ability to engage clients strategically.
- Strong understanding of financial concepts and principles as they relate to clients’ needs.
- Commercially driven in approach.
- Familiarity with Salesforce, Outlook, Mailchimp, Excel.
Compensation, Benefits and Work Authorization
In addition to a basic salary, this position is eligible for a performance bonus and benefits (subject to eligibility requirements). Total compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to, type of position, location, education level, work experience, and certifications. Green Street will not sponsor or transfer employment work visas for this position. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United Kingdom without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
